Welcome to www.VillaGrandMellow.com  These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase and sale of products from our platform. By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transactions.

Use of the Website

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to use our website or make purchases.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password.
  3. You agree to provide accurate and current information during the registration and checkout process.
  4. You may not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

Product Information and Pricing

  2. Prices are subject to change without notice. Any promotions or discounts are valid for a limited time and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. If no specific date is mentioned for price or promotion we reserve the right to decide the end date of the validity for the price or promotion.

Orders and Payments

  1. By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
  3. You agree to provide valid and up-to-date payment information and authorize us to charge the total order amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees, to your chosen payment method.
  4. We use trusted third-party payment processors to handle your payment information securely. We do not store or have access to your full payment details.
  5. It's compulsory to use the card from the guest who is going to stay in Villa Grand Mellow and upon check-in present the original credit card for verification.

Returns and Refunds

Intellectual Property

Limitation of Liability

  1. In no event shall www.villagrandmellow.com its owners, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or the purchase and use of our products.
  2. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of the products offered on our website.

Amendments and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, update, or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.

Booking Confirmation

  • Your booking can be guaranteed after a minimum payment of 50% of your stay charges. Once you made the advance deposit please ensure to share the remittance details to our WhatsApp number and get the payment confirmation and booking confirmation through our WhatsApp. Unless your booking confirmation is received from our official WhatsApp number your booking is not confirmed.

Cancellations

  • Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival: no fee.
  • Bookings cancelled between 29 and 15 days prior to the date of arrival: a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Bookings cancelled within 15 days prior to the date of arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
  • No shows: 100% cancellation fee. Bookings made at special rates or for the ‘super peak’ season (10th April to 5th May and 20 December to 10 January) are all non-refundable.

Room Occupancy

  • The room price is based on 2 guests sharing all room categories. Additionally, each guest shall charge Rs 4000.

Children

  • All children are welcome at Villa Grand Mellow Nuwara Eliya. Our rooms can accommodate two adults and two small children or one bigger child. Children under 12 years of age should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Age above 10 years shall be counted into room occupancy.

Pets

  • We’re sorry, but currently, we cannot accommodate your furry friend(s). However please connect with the Villa Grand Mellow reservation team to see the possibility of acceptance of your pet while you take only an exclusive villa.

Belongings

  • The Villa Grand Mellow cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. If we find a "lost item", we will keep it safe for you and can ship items back (at your expense). Any lost items which are not claimed within 30 days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

Vehicles

  • We have limited car parking spaces available at VILLA GRAND MELLOW which you are welcome to use during your stay or visit, and which are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Whilst we do our best to keep your vehicle(s) safe, guests park their vehicles at their own risk. Therefore when you park in our car park, you accept the risk of theft or damage to your vehicle and property in it.

Smoking

  • All our rooms are NON-SMOKING. We provide ashtrays and matches for outdoor smoking. If you decide to smoke inside, we will add a cleaning fee of LKR 5000/day/room to your bill.

Dining in Room

  • It's prohibited to dine in a room,

Liability

  • The Villa Grand Mellow's liability shall be limited to wilful acts and gross negligence by its employees or agents. Therefore, we do not accept responsibility for any death, personal injury, damage or loss of personal belongings
  • Third-Party Liability: The Villa Grand Mellow does not accept any liability for services rendered by third parties to our guests, notwithstanding that such services may be arranged by us. Any claim, demand, charge, suit or damages which may be incurred by the guests shall be made directly with such third parties and the Villa Grand Mellow shall render all reasonable assistance in this regard.

Complaints

  • We would wish to resolve amicably any reasonable complaint that we receive relating to the standard of service or accommodation arrangements.
  • If your complaint cannot be resolved locally you must follow this up by writing a formal complaint letter to us within 28 days of your return home incorporating all other relevant information. It is a condition of this agreement that you communicate any problem relating to the standard of service or accommodation arrangements to the relevant authority at the Colombo Fort Hotel you will be staying in. If still not resolved then follow this up with a written complaint. If you fail to follow this simple procedure we cannot accept responsibility as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the matter.
